The entire world has been going through, and will continue to go through, some trying times. For those in our “Delta world” we sincerely hope that you and yours have remained well through the past few months. We are thinking of you and sending our best. For many, this period has brought with it more time for family and more time for reflection. We hope that through the difficulty you have found the ‘silver linings’.
As you know , we temporarily closed the clinic to in-person visits in mid-March with the exception of those with urgent needs in order to protect the health and safety of patients and staff and to do the socially responsible act of flattening the curve of the COVID spread. As the pandemic has unfolded, we have been constantly following the stream of information and data and putting together our plans for Delta in the future. It is now time to start planning for the “new normal” and update you as to our ‘reopening’.
We will gradually begin ramping up in May, with appointments in clinic available May 4th.
There will, however, be some slight changes to procedures in order to ensure we continue to put health and safety first.
Along with these changes we will continue our vigilant and constant cleaning practices. We are committed to maintaining a safe environment as we resume helping the people of our region. We are very aware of the fears and anxiety that this current situation has created. We personally have friends and family that are ‘at risk’ populations and with that ever present on our minds our number one goal is safety. We will continue to be doing telehealth visits and we encourage anyone who feels in anyway better staying at home to use this option. We have found it to be an effective platform and one that we will be keeping as part of Delta’s services from now on.
Constantly changing to help change what moves you! We’ve got yet another long-awaited change!
We are always looking at ways to improve our services with the goal of being the center of excellence for physical therapy in the region. During the past weeks we have spent time evaluating what we are doing and how we can do it better. We will be releasing some new programs in the future and making some changes here and there to work towards that goal.
One new feature we will be adding is our new Patient Portal. Here, patients will have secure ( HIPPA compliant) access to the clinic and be able to perform numerous tasks. New patients will be able to fill out intake paperwork from home and save time on the first visit. You can message us, upload documents for us or even search for and request an appointment! We can send information or documents securely to you as well. Please be on the lookout for an email containing important information about logging into our portal or if you are as eager as we are to get back into the clinic you can access our portal here:
We are grateful for each and every person who has placed their care in our hands. You all are the reason we do what we do, and we are excited to slowly begin easing back to the task of guiding you to a healthier life. We hope that we will see you soon on a telehealth chat or even in person! Like everyone around the globe that has grown “quarantine weary” we look forward to that eventual day when we will all be sitting in the waiting room having a coffee together and hugging our patients as they reach their goals! Thank you for being a part of our journey so far and we will continue to keep you and yours in our thoughts as we start the recovery and MOVE on to greater things!
